STAR Methodology for Demand Growth

STAR

The STAR interview method is a technique that you can use to answer behavioral interview questions. Through this technique, you show real-life examples of how you handled a certain situation at work in the past. It’s a structure, Situation, Task, Action Result.

  1. Situation

S- Situation- We had a MQL to Acceptance rate of abbout 50% and much of the data was looking at an outdated scoring methodoly. Form completes, hand waivers, people that had shown little intent but just completed a form.


2.a Task

We wanted to improve the acceptance rate and provide more actionable leads and reduce the overhead of the marketing team on content creation, reduce the nurture paths, and create more actionable leads that would help the sales team. We needed to evaluate our ICP's, keywords and overall methodology for our in-market accounts a supposed to the spray and pray idea.

2.b Task

We had two think about it in small iterative steps so first we looked at our ICP's. The platform hadn't been built out with real actionable data - we had PI firms as our bread and butter. So we dug into the ICP's and looking at the target audiences. We looked at current customers, target accounts and also the buyer profiles of people that aligned to our current customers and targeted accounts.
