Like a good tequila, things take time.
I've been working in digital experience for a few (15+ ) years and while technology is changing at a lightning pace some things don't change and for me teams matter, people definitely matter, and staying organized is vital.
My career started out in advertising working as a creative admin, then finding my way into the outdoor world working for The North Face and Black Diamond Equipment. But throughout that time I didn't really hit my stride until I was bitten by the User Experience bug. UX work just made sense to me, I have an empathetic nature (growing up with 8 sisters) and a love for building things always hit the endorphins for me.
Once I found my way onto the UX team for McCann Erickson I knew that digital systems and building applications, websites, and platforms were where my career was going to really take shape. I've worked with clients ranging from Verizon, Intel, Wells Fargo to more recently Filevine, and before that my startup, VoiceSignals.
Throughout it all though my passion comes from the bookends of building teams. From learning new work styles, to creating a culture of inclusion and collaboration, I've always prided myself on being a good manager.
Cole and Toby are what make the world go around for me
Seriously she's so much smarter, prettier and an amazing athlete to boot. Definitely kicked outside my coverage on that one.
I smoke and grill meats and love talking about BBQ, what's your favorite style, do you prefer mesquite, hickory, fruit woods, I'm always down to chat BBQ
Mountains are my happy place
When i have free time I'm on my bike or my skis or just running around in the woods. it's what keeps me sane.
